Jeff Ellis Joined the company in 1998.  He has become a true asset to the company and is a very valued employee.  Jeff knows all aspects of welding. Jeff received his welding trade at the Springhill Vocational School in Springhill NS (Known as NSCC now).  He is a highly skilled welder and specializes in fabrication (to manufacture our Mac Trailers).
Jeff lives in Parrsboro with his wife and daughter.

Dwight MacGillivary Born and raised in Allenville, NS.  He married his wife  Virginia and they moved to Halifax, NS where Dwight began work at the  Halifax Shipyards.  Being a country boy at heart, they decided to move back to Advocate where they began to raise their family.It was in 1979 that Dwight decided to start his own business.  Back then he spend most of his time doing portable welding and fixing equipment in forestry operations.  He built his first trailer in 1979 for his uncle. Then the manufacturing of trailers really became busy in 1996 when he bid on a tender to manufacture trailers for the Department of Transportation and won the bid and things have taken off from there.
Scott MacGillivary Is Dwight's son.  Scott graduated from Advocate District School in 1992.  Scott then went on to further his education in Halifax, NS.  He returned to join the company in 1997.  he is a welder and looks after all the manufacturing of our Mighty Mac Log Splitters.  Scott knows all aspects of the company and he manages the shop when Dwight is not on site. Scott lives in Advocate with his wife and son.
